Caydee Denney - Champions

At the young age of 3 years old Caydee began roller skating. Both her parents were former Champion roller skaters. Her parents coached her to the National Championships at the age of 9 where she won the Juvenile girls Singles title. That same year she also won the Elementary pairs division and placed 3rd in the Juvenile Solo Dance division.

After returning from the National Roller Skating Cahmpionships, Caydee visited an ice skating rink in Orlando, Florida while on vacation. It was there that she became hooked to the ice. All her moves on roller easily transformed onto the ice. She was approached by a local ice coach and within 3 1/2 months she was skating her first Ice competition. Not any ice competition, but the Regional Championships! Caydee won 4th place in the Preliminary division.

Skating both roller and ice was too much to continue, so Caydee had to choose. Ice was the challenge and Caydee is always up for a challenge.

Since her transition from roller to ice 6 years ago, Caydee has developed into one of the Top Novice Ladies Single skaters in the nation. She Recently won the MidWestern Regional Championships, and was awarded the "Jack Might" award at the Broadmoor Open Competition for the Novice Division. Her Dream and Goal is to qualify for the international circuit and to one day represent the United States for Figure Skating.

Caydee's family recently moved from Florida to Colorado Springs, Colorado where Caydee Trains under coach Tom Zakrajsek at the Broadmoor World Arena.

There are so many factures that come into play when skating at the top levels, and Costumes are a huge role. "I have been so Blessed to have had Zhann Kenns create dresses for me." Zhanna Kenns has been admired in the Ballroom Dance field for years and now has recently stetched her creativity in the Ice skating world. "I Love the way Zhanna creates a design to not only fit my music perfectly , but the dress fits my body GREAT. Her professionalism and high quality of dress is better than anything I have ever worn."

My Long program is skated to George Gershwin and is strong and powerful. My dress "Victory" is just that! Every time I put it on I feel the strength of confidence!

My Short Program is to "Rivel" a very soft, dramatic piece of music that is sophisticated, but yet has a sense of drama and power. My dress the "TRIUMPH", is exactly what I feel every time I wear this dress.

My Show / Exhibition dress is very fun and festive. I love this dress, the "PROMISE", for when I wear it I know that I will Promise to always have Fun!

Zhanna Kenns is not only a great designer, but a true friend of mine now and a part of my winning formula and support team! I am honored to wear her costumes and will always be greatful to her. I know that with , "VICTORY , PROMISE, AND TRIUMPH", I will skate to the best of my ability and look great!
